Complicated UI and Not Easily Compatible. if I could force the connection to Roku, by having it search for my Roku's IP address manually, that would improve the app. (Edited reply to Dev comment): The biggest issue-Unfortunately the app is still avoiding a (relatively) simple solution. Which would be: to allow me to input my devices IP into the app and have it find it. example: if I could make the app force search for 190.180.0.10 this would be huge even if it was a paid feature. Thank you for taking time to update your review. Such connection option is already available in our Screen Mirroring app for Roku. We will put your feature request on our list of feature requests. We may add this feature in the future. If you have generally connection issues with your Roku, contact our support team via [email protected].

It's a great free streaming app. Sometimes it can be difficult to stream certain types of videos, or videos from certain sites. Honestly, it's easy to just find the same video somewhere else and have it work regardless. Worth it! Edit: the app recently stopped working with my Roku 2 XD box. That made me feel rather sad. Was gibt's, 2k team? What's going on? Please fix this if you can. Otherwise, I like the premium app so far. Don't mind that I need to press the deny button for pop-ups.

Doesn't work for me. When I try to cast to my Roku, the app blinks then asks me if I want to watch another ad. Nope. Edit: What I mean is that the video doesn't load up. Instead, it goes black. When I try again, I get an ad. I'm not against ad revenue. It's just after I sit through an ad, I expect to get my video played. Maybe increase the time intervals in which each ad shows up. Edited

Very satisfied with this app. "Convenient" and "easy to use", (for the most part). There is a short delay that can cause you to prematurely select another action or video before it has had an opportunity to download. But i realize this could also be my equipment . . . not exactly sure, however . . ."I would still highly recommend the Roku Video & TV Cast".

This review is for the paid version - once you pay the ads go away. I had liked (and purchased) this for iOS, but only used it occasionally. However the Android version is much better because it does not have the iOS limitations of needing to be in the foreground and the device screen being on (thus making you plug that iPad in and leave it as a paperweight). On Android it is a true background app that, once you trigger the cast, you can actually go ahead and use your phone nornally!
