I really appreciate having an alternative to Scrabble since that app was totally ruined, but as someone who mostly plays the game on the tube or plane where there is no data/internet it's frustrating that I can't play the game without an internet connection! Surely this isn't required when playing against the bots? If this could be fixed I'd be very happy!

Hi Callum! Thanks for the feedback. You are correct that Explo currently requires an Internet connection. It might be possible in the future to allow robot games without being connected, so please check us out again later!

It's a very nice scrabble-like in Icelandic, with a couple of negatives. Biggest one is the music jingle when you launch the app will interrupt and stop any podcast or music you're listening to. Another is pressing the in-game return button to collect all the letters back will always zoom you out if you have zoomed in on the board, I would prefer if it stayed zoomed in. Extremely smooth, efficient and user friendly app. Everything well thought out. Colors used cleverly. It would be convenient to have the option of canceling a game that hasn't started and your opponent (who has the first turn) is idle so your stuck in the game.

Thanks Hlynur for the great review, we appreciate it! Your suggestion re the game canceling is really good. We will consider changing the Resign button to a Cancel button when no play has been made in a game.

As advertised, scrabble but with both offline (vs bot) and online play, that has no adverts or popups. However the bots are either far too good or I'm awful at Scrabble. Even Sif, the easy level bot was getting 20+ points per turn, even when the word was only 3-4 letters long (I.e. Jars got 22 points).

Hi Layton! Thanks for the positive words. Yes, the robots are admittedly a bit fiendish. Your feedback is valuable to us so that we can tune them better. Don't give up on Explo, with a bit of practice I'm sure you'll beat Sif :-)
