Using this for a year or so now.. Overall the idea and usefulness of expo is 5/5. Execution of product 3/5. Comments aren't wrong, tons of issues, for me worst is how horrible debug mode is, and how it screws up things even when you turn it off, to the point of needing to Uninst. And install to work again. But many connection issues ppl complain about can be easily solved with a few google searchs and making sure you are connected to same wifi router at home on devices. Edited

I downloaded Expo Go early this week. I think on Monday or thereabout, and it worked perfectly well showing my app, but right now I am seriously having issues viewing my app because Expo Go is just showing loading but not showing my app for preview. I don't know if you guys are having issues. Please fix the issues so that this beautiful monster can continue to do its job. Thanks.

It worked fine until now, when it started to say that "Sorry about that. You can go back to expo home and try reloading the project". Reloading or restarting the server does not work and and there is a option to view error log, and it says "Uncaught error: Java.io.IOException : failed to download remote update". I have uninstalled and reinstalled it but nothing works. This sucks if its a framework for react native then it should work. I am using Realme 5. Edited

It sees the app server running on my laptop, but when I select the app, nothing happens. Same if I enter the URL manually and tap Connect. If I try using the QR code it recognises the code and then... nothing happens. If there's an issue I get that, but the lack of feedback is incredibly frustrating.

I really appreciate the thinking of having an app tht works and compile it just scanning the qr code. The problem is the not getting options for SDKs like it will be very helpful if we can have options to select different SDK versions just inside the app rather than downloading it from the site and deleting the previous versions just to make the new one work. That's actually terrible. I hope it updates soon.
