I reinstalled the game after the creators claimed they were going to reduce the number of ads. if anything, the ads have gotten worse. you clear a level and bam, another ad. on occasion an ad would pop up as I was playing a level. uninstalling again. Other games advertised zen word as being ad free...that is a flat out lie. I want a fun game that is good for leisure, not one spammed with ads. Edited

The game is great but they REALLY got carried away with the ads. There's at least 1 60 to 90 second ad after each level. (every. single. one.) plus another one when you earn some rewards. I'm temporarily stuck in bed following a head on with a semi, so I have SO many games downloaded. This, BY FAR, has a tremendous amount more ads than any of the others. Not sure this game is worth all that.

The overall game is fun. It can be challenging as you get caught up and overlook the obious. My issue is the amount of commericals you are forced to watch. At the end of every level you are forced to watch a 1 minuted (at minimum) commercial to move on. Its by far one of the worst I have worked with, others at least make you watch them to earn things. They want you to pay montly to not get commericals and its a lot more than they make you watching them. But the game play is fun.

I understand the ads for free play, but this game has ads after every single round. some of them, such as Nike, have no way out of the ad other than closing the game and reopening it. Even with that, though, I would give it 5 stars if it tracked statistics for the accumulation of unique words. I would love a word game that had this feature.

This is my go to casual F2P game that keeps me sharper when playing the Scrabble board game with my partner. I enjoy playing this on the daily. A few ideas that would make this app better for me: a player dictionary of all the words we've found (a lot of times I don't know the last word in a puzzle, and I can't see what it means as the level ends), then a word counter for how many times we've played that word. Also, I close and reload app between levels to avoid ads. It's literally quicker.
