I have never played the card game, but I find the gameplay mostly fun! It's hard to tell sometimes what progress I'm making. My biggest complaint is that there is no save state or option to save at all. I have to finish a game in one sitting or I just lose everything! No leaving the game to answer a text or anything. This is nearly unforgivable on a mobile platform Edited

Edit: The May 28, 2025 update has fixed the game. It is now playable again and appears to work as well as before. I appreciate the quick turnaround in getting the bug fixed. Stopped working after the May 2025 update. It is no longer possible to select cards to purchase which means it is impossible to play the game. Edited

It was a fun game. Now, with the graphic updates, I can't read all of the cards' text boxes on my Pixel 9. The "cute" graphics leave a square over the words, and sometimes the text is blown up so big all of the words just don't fit. I checked settings several times, and there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it. What's worse, I just bumped the AI to smart, and now the game freezes at the start of the first turn.

Oh no no no, please revert to the original style. I play this game more than a dozen times a week to relax, and the new font and iconography are garish and bulbous. I'm addition, the animation is choppy, now, like my phone is all of the sudden not powerful enough to run the app correctly. Someone completely ruined the Ticket to Ride app to make it feel less like a board game and more like candy crush, please please please don't ruin this one in the same way. :(

Great adaptation of the card game with some bugs. For example, when using a cards that allows you to affect an adjacent card, if you press the score button before you select the adjacent card you are prompted to select the card, but can't. When playing with the space bar card the AI gets points for non-words like "SH".
