Slow to get medals, & you should be able to claim more without restarting the game. The building combo system is neat and adds an element of strategy to setting up your town; the first 5 years in-game passes far too quickly when focused on this. Nice amount of depth and plenty of monsters, just progression is slower than your average Kairosoft game (which isn't entirely a bad thing!). A few EN text errors too, such as a lack of space in the attack message during battle, but nothing gamebreaking.

Kairosoft doesn't disappoint again as I move through their extensive catalog. This one is especially great & has lots to do, and the set up is a bit different than their other games and incorporates town-building with a turn-based pokémon aspect of recruiting animals. Lots to do & unlock with a good amount of depth. Well done guys. Medals are hard to come by however, that aspect feels unbalanced especially as you progress and things cost 20+ medals to upgrade. Still I'm enjoying every minute.

All of Kairosoft's games feel like- and I mean this with no malice whatsoever- old, archaic Java games from the early 2000s that were somehow ported to modern phones through some sort of technical wizardry. This game is no exception: it even mimics the old face buttons of a brick phone! Besides that, the music is choppy and cuts out before the songs can finish half the time, and there's a myriad of text formatting issues but the graphics are super charming, which is a given from this developer.

I really wish i could transfer my data from the free version but otherwise this is probably one of my top-5 favorite games of all time. it's a breezy, little management sim with a charming monster collecting element reminiscent of Dragon Quest Monsters and a surprisingly well-developed battle system. Definitely worth the money. Edited

The game itself is pretty great, but my biggest problem for this game (and some others) is the lack of save transfer. It's such a basic feature that a paid game like this should have. You can't transfer your save from the normal beastie bay to this one, so why bother getting this version if you have to start over Edited
