I know the typos are being worked out, so I won't go into detail on that end. I don't even mind the so-called pay-wall that people have been mentioning. This is a nice followup to the first iteration, and I'm glad to support this platform and its authors. Edit: Changed from four stars to five after seeing that the passive-aggressive code comments are gone.

I literally can't describe how wonderful, deep, well-written, and thoroughly impreasive this game is. Fully capable of loading saves from Great Tournament 1, and can literally be an entirely different game based on choices from it, plus two additional game scenarios essentially make this 4/5 incredible games in one. I rarely leave reviews, but this absolutely deserved 5 stars. My ONLY complaint is that some battles can take an unnecessarily long time. If I have 2,000 troops, and they have 50, i should be taking out more than 5-10 per attack. Other than that, flawless. Edited

The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because you need to pay to finish the story. Truly disappointing as the 1st story is free to play all the way through (and I was absolutely enthralled by the 1st game. Really well done!) I like that you are able to continue from your save point in the 1st story. If it was so you paid only to remove ads (if you wanted to) that would be fine, but I'm not going to pay to finish the rest of the story. Make it free like the 1st chapter and I will reinstall the games

Firstly, I would have loved to leave a better review, but I'd be lying if I said I want very disappointed with the ending. The Great Tournament was absolutely amazing and probably one of my favorite interactive stories. I was really drawn into it and it's characters and it let me feel what they felt. Add on top that it was free, I thought that there was no topping it. Sadly, I was right. The Great Tournament 2 added in very few new characters (and didn't really get you very attached to any of em

It's a decent sequel, i would like to see the option to go back to the start of the chapter though because there are many times I got trapped into descisions i didn't want to make just because I tried to get more information before i made my choice. The story is good but its all too rushed at the end. I don't want to spoil it but, your actions at the end should in some way pay off or have some sort of reprucussion that you play through, instead of just a short two passage narrative.
