The beginning moved a little slow for my taste but it had lots of character development. Roach is an excellent romance option so choosing gender has its uses for those who would prefer more traditional gender roles. There is more than one ending which gives this game decent replayability. The ending is where this story really shines: everything was tied up properly except for the fate of that white truck. That poor man, probably a skeleton in a discarded truck at the end.

I had been following the development of this game and a few others for some time. Unfortunately, life gets in the way sometimes. I stopped tracking all of them but I get notification emails for new games and when I saw this email I didn't even think twice about paying for it. I enjoyed the demo that much. I thought the demo set up the world and feel of the story really well. The end result is satisfying and there are twists I was shocked by. The replayability is solid. Will you stay or go? Edited

I downloaded The Passenger to try something new and I ended up loving it! I only played the first three chapters, but can't wait to see how it ends (and how many endings)! I am not typically a horror fan, but I was immediately engrossed with the story. I loved the stats element too. There are a ton of choices to make (lending to the replay value) and it's all fueled by the imagination! I was weary of a game with no graphics, but it turns out all you need is a good story for a good game! ❤️ Edited

What a delightful story! The horror elements are chilling and the character interactions are so fun. I've already done two runs and I'm excited to start a third. There's a pleasing diversity in development of your eldritch being and in the choices you can make. I love all of the romantic options and am excited to see what the others have in store for me. Something to note is that you can't save and reload, which makes decisions all the more nerve-wracking and mistouches unfortunate.

I've been waiting to play this game since I first read the demo years ago, and it was MORE than worth the wait! The MC has stats that matter (both personality-wise and combat-wise), and there's a cast of characters that are well-rounded, flawed, and SO easy to love (Livvy!) and a gripping plot with brilliant, eldritch, reality-bending twists. Strongly recommend!!
