Pretty interesting app. I like that my records are available to me anytime, anywhere! When I had to remember dates of vaccinations, I always had a problem...not any longer because all that information is at my fingertips. Very convenient and satisfying. Changes in medications are simplified, reordering medicine is a breeze, etc. I really can't find a problem with this app. Edited

Update: everything works great now! I just forgot to update my review. Someone reset the two factor authentication for me, and it's been smooth sailing! Super convenient now to manage my appointments. --- Before: The app is, on the whole, great. But there are issues with two step verification that are making me annoyed. Edited

What's not to love about this? I played around with the app quite a bit between appointments just trying to see how it worked and it was pretty fun. The UI is adorable. It's really easy to use. I can get in touch with my doctors really easily. My test results and appointments are front and center so they're impossible to miss. The notifications are unobtrusive and never about marketing. The only thing I could nitpick is that the login biometric scanner will confuse first time/older users.

The entire task subsystem does not work. Doctors use these tasks to provide information about what a patient should be doing during recovery. There is no notification, even if you accidentally stumble upon this area of the system and turn on notifications. By default, notifications are off. Turning them on has no effect. MyChart tech support takes zero responsibility. Linking MyChart accounts with other facilities is flaky at best and ineffective most of the time.

As a techy, and a designer, Mt. Sinai did it right, they've keep everything super relevant and easy to use. As a hospital app, I was expecting ads, and irrelevant redirects, ect ect ect. However, it's intuitive, easy to digest, and make it pleasant to, want to use and keep up with your health status. I personally don't wait till I get sick to see my doctors, I choose to see my doctor monthly, and it's great I can review my records, and research on my own, so I am on the same page all the time
