Delivers the same telegram experience. But I typically find it is more stable and has never crashed on me. some features are a little more limited but it works quickly and simply. update 7-2025: still have unexplained restrictions.. cannot recommend this app at all, if for no reason your just going to get cut off and block from reaching your friends and damoly. literally useless now. I've used this client for telegram for years and years. I love the customization and not being bugged to pay for premium constantly. unfortunately, it's become too buggy to be worth it lately and I had to switch back to native telegram. edit: tried telegram X again because the mandatory snow animation on Telegram was annoying but now the forced swipe navigation conflicts with my phones built in swipe navigation, making it impossible to switch between menus. nice going 👍 Edited

There is 1 obvious, massive issue that makes this app impractical to use. All of your chats, channels & groups are in one chat list with absolutely no way to create separate tabs\folders! After some time, I assumed they would eventually show up in TG X as this is a necessary feature for most users. At least include them as an optional feature that users can enable. Not including folders is a deal breaker & that's sad because TG X would be my preference if it included them. Edited

This app is fantastic, and definitely an improvement over the base app. However, my only gripe with it is that it isn't consistently updated along with the normal Telegram app and the desktop app, so features like animated stickers, for example, don't work for a while. Updates should be available on all platforms before they're rolled out, am I right?

Telegram X used to be my go to app for telegram, but with the constant updates to the main app, and the sheer amount of features it provides, it's hard to sell X as anything but a stripped down lite version. The introduction of folders was basically the death of the app for me. However, if you want a very lite version of telegram, X simply works. I came back just to see if much had changed. If anything exiting was added. The answer is, it hasn't. It's just "okay" Edited
