used to be amazing. have used it for 8 years. half of the features hardly function at all anymore. and if you want a half-decent experience, you have to pay. it used to be a GIVEN (and always should be?) to allow message requests only from known contacts. now you have to pay, and bots are infiltrating the platform. I can't think of a single reason why that feature is now behind a paywall. it's becoming unusable from the spam alone. video memos have been broken for months. voice memos delete.

Edit: this is still a premium only feature, and it shouldn't be! So wrong!! I get so many unwanted messages, but I can't do anything about it because of this. It's just not right! Great app for the most part, but when I got a spam message this morning, I realized you cannot set privacy of who can message you without paying for premium. This should be a free setting ALWAYS!! Forcing users to pay to protect their privacy is sketchy, at best. Edited

I LOVE this app, but since I updated it to the latest version, I can't open videos in Telegram (videos are glitchy), and I should use external players. Edit: The problem was fixed after more updates through the past year, but I'm experiencing this issue again for months now! Just updated the app to the latest version, but it isn't fixed. My phone is Galaxy A32. Edited

you have options for all of my favorite things. you're a good application, mostly. you shouldn't offer services that don't function save make it infinitely more difficult to use as this app. I just want my chat bubbles to STICK and NOT DISAPPEAR every time I open them. you work so hard at doing everything as well as other companies and you left the little guy out to dry.

It used to work great, with translations being the best around of similar apps. Since it was down to be fixed, it seems to now be working for those I communicate with, but I still do not have the option returned. I have uninstalled/reinstalled, with no change. Do you have an ETA for this feature to be returned? Thank you!
