It lacks OMEMO, auto-away and support to view user profiles, but otherwise is a stable and - if all you need is plain text messaging and HTTP file sharing - perfectly tolerable client to use. UI is better than Conversations' IMO. Wish it wasn't so abandoned.

ICQ Jimm app for Java2ME feature phones weights ~100KB & runs faster... Why comparable app for Android weights ~ 30 (!..) times heavier & runs slowlier, of course?.. I need just a text & URL (clickable) transfer IM app only: with no f*c*ing voice-/video- calls!!!

Just switched from Xabber - their client doesn't work well on Samsung phones. Yaxim is a relief after the above mentioned client. A feature request. It'd be cool if Yaxim showed pictures right in the chat window without having to open a broswer (Sawim could do that). Another important thing missing is room management and moderator's commands. At least I couldn't find how to do that.

Connection issues. The latest update you can connect from the mobile network, but not from wifi. The obvious difference is that your LAN probably doesn't support ipv6. Solution is to manually enter the ipv4 address of the server as custom hostname.

still the best looking xmpp client, however I don't see status changes reflected unless I disconnect and reconnect
