New user. So far good experience. Everything looks and functions well. Look forward to utilizing the email. Do not see a way to log out of the app. When composing an email the recipient's address was hidden now it shows up. Do not know how to change. It is synced to use with another email provider only shows their information. Edited

Update: K-9 just pushed ~100 old messages to the top. Sadly got one foot out the door. // I've used and appreciated K-9 for many years. A request:In v 8.2 it pushes to the top of my in-box messages that it thinks I need to follow up on. Please provide a way to disable this function! It's confusing because the messages are not marked to differentiate then from new ones and irritating because I generally disagree with the algorithm on what needs my attention. Thanks for considering. Edited

We're so sorry this happened, and you can set your preferences for what messages get synced (how many and how old) in Settings > [account] > Fetching Mail. If this doesn't fix the issue, we'd like to know more and help understand what's happening. Please open a support question at forum.k9mail.com so our support crew can help troubleshoot this!

I finally got a newer phone that will no longer support good old version 5.60, which was a perfect 5 star email app, and I was forced to install 9.0. I REALLY miss having the app's primary screen be the list of accounts. I wish there were a setting that would allow me to bring that back. The current screen with the list of the current account's folders and list of accounts to the side would be ok. I loved that summary as my intro & exit view. Minus 2 stars for that glaring omission. I wanted to like this app, but I don't. It does not sync emails despite my global settings. Have to constantly refresh manually to download messages. The layout is okay, I like the unified inbox but that's about it. I have to constantly tell it to show remote images and/or download complete message manually, as I have not been able to locate a global setting for this. It's a pain. Going back to Mozilla Thunderbird. UPDATE: Thx for Dev response. Did all that prior to review. Still doesn't work. Edited

To download complete messages as default, go to Settings > Account Settings > [account] > Fetching Mail. Change "Fetch messages up to" a larger size. To show remote images by default, go into Settings > [Account] > Reading mail > Always show images, and turn this on from anyone Be sure sync is turned on in individual folders with folder settings

It crashed many times during setup. Can't get passed setup. Edited: After numerous attempts I identified the step at which the setup was crashing. After typing the password to log into my email account, making the PW visible would crash the app. Finally, I set it up. Nice app, simple, not many bells and whistles, works well with Google, Microsoft. Edited
