I've been playing this wonderful game for years and always give 5 stars, but there's an ongoing problem that never gets addressed, and that is hints coming without asking for them. I've lost well over 30 hints lately because something touched the screen and now 3 hints were used. I've written to them but haven't gotten a response yet. Make a button to verify asking for a hint.

I used to really like this app. And I understand the ads. I had gotten used to them in between boards......But now, popping up right in the MIDDLE of playing a board?!!! Unacceptable!! Time to UNinstall! UPDATE:I thought I would give it a chance to see if it would be fixed. A "screen shot" won't do anything, the pop up ad looks just like the ads IN BETWEEN the boards! They are coming more frequently and when I CAN 'close' them, screen goes black! I then have to start my game over! Now 1 star! Edited

Hello Mark, thank you for bringing this up. Ads do help us keep the game free but don't worry you should always have an option to remove them by purchasing certain hint packages that include an ad-removal option.

Fun, challenging game. the Game gets 4 stars, playing the game gets 2. The ads have gotten WAY out of hand. Ads will pop up sometimes after each word is solved. If my screen times out while looking for a word, an ad will come up when I turn on the screen The ads will also shut off any music app I listen to while playing. If I want the music back on I have to leave the game app to restart the music. When I return to Wordbrain an ad pops up shutting off the music AGAIN. I dont play it much anymore

Fun, challenging puzzles. Too many ads. NO, I will not pay to remove ads. When I read reviews the single biggest complaint is the frequency of ads. We understand the need for ads to keep the game free, but the frequency is overdone and makes the game as frustrating as it is fun. And to rub salt into the wound, after the ad the game puts up its own ad asking you to pay to remove ads or gives you the option to indicate that you prefer ads! This game could be really good, but you dropped the ball in the only places it matters for player retention. I've been searching for a replacement for Ruzzle for years now ever since they ruined the premium version which removed ads, by adding ads. This is almost as good as ruzzle but the boards are way too small with too few words to find. Plus the ads are the most obnoxious possible and play after every level. I didn't see a premium version to buy to remove ads. Game production 101 failure..
