Had a lot of fun with this game over quite a few years but finally what beat me were the ads which became very annoying, they come up and run a long time before the game starts, they often don't close unless you install an additional game. You have to shut down the app and then restart it, but you may be penalized by having to play black the next game. The company says that they can't control the ads, well that's a shame. There must be a way of having ads without it being completely annoying. Edited

Ads can be annoying, but our ad frequency is lower than most free apps. Popup ad outside of games is skippable after 5-10 seconds with >>/X/Close. If >> disappears, tap where it was. Ad networks control how to skip ads + may show them in 2 or 3 parts. Please report bad ads to

Update: the skip button just keeps going to Play Store. back button back to ad. endless loop. Ads lock up phone. Full screen ads with no way to clear them without just closing the whole app and starting over. Most other apps have ads you can clear after 5 seconds or so. Not these, they last forever. Seems like they're trying to annoy us enough to pay for ad-less but they're just annoying me to uninstall. Edited

Nice graphics! Game engine is quick and responsive. Chess engine seems more balanced now from level 1 to 5; I'm able to win at level 5, and I'm rated about 1500 unofficially. The threat indicator visuals are nice idea but to slow to see when you move quick to be useful. I think card games are boring, that's why i play chess, so all your card games ads are wasted advertising on me. Edited

2 words: video ads. Not everyone has wifi or unlimited data. Also, I have LG V60 Dual Screen and the ad pauses what im watching on the other screen. Update 2025: The AI is extremely inconsistent. On the lowest level, one game it'll let you take pretty much any piece you want, and beat you the next. P.S. If you hate the ads just turn off your data and wifi while playing it, or, if you have a newer phone, deny it access to mobile data and turn off the wifi. Edited

We cannot control ads, but can try to block persistent bad ads. Send details to aifactory.co.uk. Ads can be annoying but our Ad rate is still lower than most free apps. Ads are what pay for the development of these apps, the strongest on Google Play. Note the paid "Pro" version provides a whole lifetime free of ads for single one-off modest fee.

Same feedback as everyone else. The app was top-notch for several years, but finally had to remove it because the ads have become excessive. I've seen the response to others complaining of the same thing. All I can say is, you may have less ads than most free apps, but that doesn't mean it's not excessive.
