Fantastic app for playing Go against a range of skill levels. Undo/redo functionality is a great learning tool for playing out scenarios multiple times, or for reviewing the game after. It took me a year to decide to buy the paid version, which was very worth it. Additional functionality I would appreciate: - Some cosmetic options (e.g. dark mode) - Better undo/redo navigation: button to move, say, 10 moves forward/backward - Saved game files for later review in-app or elsewhere

A good game but very limited. A lot of potential in the app but the developer has a clear goal. I've played a few different games now from this developer and they all seem to be very similar the ads in the game are not bad at all. Only local multiplayer. Nothing online. The pace of the opponent seems to be slow and the stone don't always appear where they're supposed to when you place them. The app also Boggs down my phone and laggs for several seconds at a time. This can be very frustrating. Edited

Online play is on our list to assess but we are a very small, very busy team so cannot say when we might have a chance to do this. Sorry if moves are slow - devices may think for longer at higher levels. Piece is offset to help you see the piece easier when placing. To turn it off please go to Menu, Options and uncheck "Offset Selection Point".

I can't tell if I'm really at a 15 kyu level or if the AI just has jarring moments of glitches. Sometimes the AI plays really strong and other times it makes rather crazy mistakes. In either case after a few initial moves the game falls apart and the AI plays way below the rank it claims. Regardless, its still an enjoyable experience. The board and stones look great, the sound effects are nice. Could use a music option.

So far, this has been a great app for beginner practice. After all, the best way to learn is to play. That being said, I wish there was a way to play with others, even on the same wi-fi network, without having to pass the device back and forth. Also, the drag to place is a bit awkward and always seems to be miscalibrated on space up. Update: I discovered the setting for play offset literally minutes after placing this review. Thanks for the developer's response! Edited

Thank you for your thoughts. Online play has been added for consideration on our to-do list. However we're a very small team so can't give a timeline for assessing any requests. Piece is offset to help you see the piece easier when placing. To turn it off please go to Menu, Options and uncheck "Offset Selection Point".

Overall, I love the app. GO is a lot of fun, and this app has taught me how to play (i only kinda understood before). The one thing that bothers me is that when playing against the computer, the computer's stone flashes on the screen, too show where the stone is placed. the animation takes 1-2 seconds, and after playing a while, it's annoying to wait for the computer to make a move while the stone flashes on screen.
