I've found eWeather HDF to be fast, and provide a rich data set with forecasts available in hourly detail as well as up to 10 days out. Multiple screens are available, and data is presented in coherent and useful ways. I can choose my preferred weather provider, and I'm not locked in as I roam around. Predicted rain chances and amounts are presented next to each other, giving a nuanced perspective. There is an animated radar map with adjustable parameters. I wish I had more space to rave!

I have the paid app. I paid back when it was a one time fee. The developer allowed this to continue after the monthly rate was employed. I love this app!! You can pick your weather source in addition to all of the types of information. There's a lot of customization you can do to the interface.

It has always been superb I just wish it had a LARGE SIZE easy to scan dictionary of its icons. It uses a ton of different images and no easy way to find what most mean. Take their instructions to SEND A REPORT to remove ads. In years of searching, I can't find any link/graphic that leads to OPTIONS...REPORT.

This app worked very well until recently. The location keeps being set to Moyock, NC instead of Chesapeake, VA. I will uninstall the app if this continues. Edit: Thank you for responding to my review. I have tried setting the location to GPS, but location is stil being set to the wrong city. Edited

-run eWeather HDF
-click on the location name at the top part of the app
-click the middle button in the top buttons row
-If you see "Static location" then click on it and switch to "Track with GPS and network cells"
-Click “Set to default”

I've been using this app for years now and absolutely love it! This app packs tons of information in a few screens where you can get all types of weather related information for a given area. It's not just the app that's great, but also the developer, who responds to requests immediately.
