The tutorial is definitely not enough to actually get you up to speed and playing the game. I love complicated card games, but giving the player 1 prebuilt deck, that you don't even truly dive into, and no other options really hampered the experience. Spending most rounds trying to read up on every keyword just to be able to have an idea of what I even can do, only to find the enemy doing something you didn't even know they could do is not fun. Some other decks would've been nice.

I want to first start by saying the game is fun. the AI isn't too hard and collecting cards is fun. one big problem I have right now is how they are blocking armies behind a pay wall. you used to get a start up army with any campaign. now you have to buy the premium campaign to even get a start up army.

Fun CCG, especially for Warhammer 40k fans. Each faction has unique card keywords, multiple heroes and interesting modifiers based on game backgrounds. Premium campaign rewards is a great way to get a solid collection, and the shop also let's you purchase cards you might be missing. Biggest con: It is hard to get the entire collection for even a single faction without spending any money. Also, there is no "duplicate protection" when discovering legendary cards in card packs. PTW Mechanics, it's fun short term, but as a bronze 4, I get matched against diamond and gold players regularly. I spent about 30 bucks on this game when I first started playing. And it was fun. But now there's no point. If you don't spend money, you will be cannon fodder. The season resets but the PTW Mechanics don't. Get it if your willing to shell out 20 bucks a month on a free game. Otherwise, hard pass.

Pros: Lots of deck customization. Art/Sound decently immersive. Customer support is great. Cons: Confusing to navigate, inadequate tutorial. Bad pacing and lots of small text to read in a short moment. Turns will play out before you have any idea what's happening. I'm sure the complexity is more enjoyable eventually. "Campaign" is no such thing, just a reward path for playing. I'm sure it'll get better, but as a brand new player it's a rough start. Edited
