You need to be able to see what cards you have in your deck when choosing new cards, most of the blessings don't feel worth taking, you get VERY few chances to remove cards, certain enemies/teams are too powerful, and the reinforcement system needs to be fixed. As soon as reinforcements start getting called in, the fight instantly spirals out of control and ends your entire run. If you accidentally end your turn early, you've already lost. The reign game mode also has a bug where nothing loads. Edited

Very cool. Graphics and animations are clean and responsive. This is really 2 games for the price of 1: Deliverance is reminiscent of Slay the Spire, and Reign is like Monster Train. Tone of stuff to unlock, and I'm looking forward to exploring all of the mechanics. Seems like a great buy for $5!

This game is a 2 in 1. You get 2 completely different games. One is s tower defense (I like this more) and one is a collectible card game. The balance in Reign is pretty well nailed. You have 6 levels with each monarch. Each of them has different play style. You can fairly easily beat the 6 levels and then go on the hell layers that ramp up difficulty much more. This game is well worth the money, spent already hours on it. There's also 0 micro transaction or subscription in the game. Awesome!

It's a great game, my favourite is the Reign side of things. There are a few things that would bring it up to five stars, like explaining the rarity tier, a glossary of what each effect does, perhaps a strategic option to preview the outcome of a card you play? (E.g. if putting that two armour down would prevent death - something small) but I would highly recommend getting this game. I have yet to finish a run on Deliverence yet, I keep dying 😅

Overall, a pretty fun and unique spin on the Slay the Spire genre of deck builders. While I barely play Reign, it's nice to have the option of it in case Deliverance ever gets old, but so far I am quite happy to spend the reasonable amount of money needed to unlock the full game. My only complaint is when I use Death Knight's boiling blood and trigger an enemy ripsote (e.g. Vampire Duelist) the interaction always crashes the game to the point where I have to reset the run since I can't undo it
