Edit, now that I can play it; One of the best games of 2024. Fun character design, subversion of tropes in the best way possible (the Bear is the construction company accountant and I find that hilarious), and also... Combat. While I do wish there was a parry system where if you attack an enemy while they attack, it cancels, it's still pretty fun. 10/10 gameplay, story, characters, setting, and writing. Highly recommend. edit: the Kung Fu Panda dude spitting bars Edited

Great aesthetic, great world building, interesting characters. The dialogue is hit or miss (more miss than hit at the start but it gets way better). While it's a gatcha game, the lack of PvP means you won't really feel the OP nature of certain characters, they'll just make the (totally optional) endgame content easier. You can experience the great story without setting your wallet on fire. Best mobile game I've played so far.

It's a really good game and honestly should be ranked higher, but one thing has frustrated me. The game crashes, freezes, and often kicks me out. I've never had this issue with other gacha games like Wuwa, Genshin, and the Honkai series. I think it's due to optimization issues and the Play Store software, because I usually download my games from the Galaxy Store.

Zenless Zone Zero might come off a little extra at first, but beneath the flashy animations is a game that’s actually well-crafted. The pacing feels just right, the grind isn’t overwhelming, and the devs? They’ve been on point listening to feedback and making meaningful changes. The story and gameplay are both super engaging. Honestly, it’s fun and doesn’t waste your time. I do admit it needs a fine tuning with game performance. Edited

This game is fun with plenty of unique content. Combat is intuitive and easy to follow while also remaining difficult and fun while not feeling repetitive. Even on lower graphic settings, the game still looks good. All the characters are unique and just plain fun. This game is NOT pay to win, but pay to progress faster, not a bad thing. The game remains playable with a grind that's not too repetitive. there's also no pay wall for progression. Also, the voice acting is pretty well done.
