The thrill of adventure, not knowing what is waiting for you in the depths of a dungeon, the excitement of finding new loot to use to aid you, sadly none of this is present in this game, the only reward you get is gold which strangely is useless, the graphics are nice, the controls when learned are fine, but what is missing is what makes a great rpg game, what is missing? VARIETY! Unless I completely missed something there is no variety, I used the same weapon, armor, etc. the entire time Edited

The presentation is gorgeous. Love the pixel art. I'm working on a game myself with a similar aesthetic, so this game is right up my alley. Haven't played much yet, but I'm sold. Side note: I'm trying to set fullscreen mode, but the option isn't working in the menu. When I press it, it clicks but doesn't switch from "OFF." Any thoughts why this is not working? Very bare bones, gear other than weapons is very limited, and the life sim parts are barely features. Farming is basically tap for a bunch of cabbage n carrots everyday, mining is just the same but with the promise of upgrading weapons I could never find, fishing is just hope for fish or an encounter for exp, marriage is basically a daily full restore item, and combat strategy is more or less attack n heal for most classes. Still, for $1 for a game with no ads and no M-Ts, You can do MUCH worse.

Great so far! Take a moment, unlike me, to regard the controls they are intuitive but took a second. The game is great, especially for the price. It is an open world rpg with other elements such as farming. Character creation as well including appearance options earned in game.

The menu system is bad. Needless clicks, it's not clear what button is active, or how to get out of a menu. The "farming" aspect is very basic. There's not really any gameplay there. The missions are not very imaginative, there's not much jeapordy, so not much excitement. However, this is a fair intro to this type of game, and RPGs generally. It suits younger kids. There are few games in this category, especially if, as a parent, you are looking for no horror, blood or needless killing. Edited
