Good game. Just like; StS, dawncaster, Rogue Adventure, in that there are unique classes, and intricate level board with pretty cool original features (planning a path! So cool). 3 Stars cause finishing a run doesn't feel rewarding. There's no class upgrades, or perks to carry forward. You just rinse and repeat. It would be nice to implement some kind of progression through class upgrades/buffs, or even earning fixed relics of some sort. It just feels kind of stale. But it's super fun! Edited

A game so good I bought it twice. It's a card building roguelike with its own identity. Easier than spire at a baseline and feels more like a sealed deck run instead. That's in part due to the design differences. There are 4 characters, each with 3 variations on starting deck that push you in different directions. Then the game is balanced around drawing to a fixed hand size, while maintaining energy. This lets you choose when to hold cards freely, or turn cards into energy to bank for later.

Linking to Steam for Crossplay was simple. This game is perfect for phone, tablet, it touchscreen play. It's a great iteration of what StS invented with its own character, charm, and secrets. My only issue is that the game didn't take up the full screen by default. It took up about half and I had to manually adjust the UI scaling. Edit: that suggestion fixed it. Not sure why other games haven't done this to me but it shouldn't happen again. Thanks! Edited

Hey Jasey -- thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you're enjoying it. The screen resolution thing is something in an Android setting that we're unable to control. I'll copy the solution here from the Discord: Go to Android system settings, check Display -> Screen Resolution, set to Full resolution. Please reach out if you still have issues!

I absolutely love this game! It is very similar to StS but I feel it has improved on that style. It gives you more control over each run. All 4 of the characters are good though they play very different from each other. My major complaint with this game is the difficulty balancing. When selecting difficulty you have intro, normal, hard, impossible & impossible+. I have successfully completed around 50 runs on normal yet not 1 on hard, 6 attempts so far. Normal is too easy, hard is too hard.

I'm honestly blown away by this game. I love this genre and it's doing everything right. It doesn't go out of it's way to be innovative, but all the design choices feel very intentional and it feels very fresh. I love that identical cards stack to save screen space. There is so much content, and it's so addicting that I'll probably have to uninstall to focus on more important things, and that's a very high honor. My one issue is the games are pretty damn long, I kinda wish they were -15% Edited
