I turned on the app and went to play games. I thought, "Oh, it's working!" And then after a minute or 2, the adds in the background started popping up AGAIN. I fell for this games trick. At least you can avoid adds for a minute every time you firstly turn on the app, shut down your phone, or reset your phone. I would like to forget adds exist. I'm getting another add blocking app that actually works. Edited

Works great, when it works. It constantly disables thru the day and has to be manually re-enabled. I followed all the instructions in their tech support emails with no improvement, and they just let the string die, and refused my requests to escalate to someone who could help. Now the constant crashes are just as annoying as the ads. And check out AdGuard's responses to all these negative reviews. What a ho-hum attitude! "We couldn't duplicate the problem" blah blah. They take the money and run.

Works great and makes YouTube usable, except that I'm not sure if it updates the filters automatically. Still giving it 5 stars, as it literally takes 5 seconds in total to open the app, update the filters, and go back to browsing/watching. The 1 star reviews have to be from people using the wrong browser, making it their fault, and not the app's.

Does not work with a VPN. Only works with a couple of browsers, Samsung or Yandex. It really is not much better than a good privacy browser. It doesn't block all pop-ups; Brave is better at that. I'd rather just use my VPN and a privacy browser. This app is not needed if you purchased Adguard and installed it. I did and it works very well. Edited

I came across adguard YEARS ago before they were on mobile. I was exhausted with all the adds in the world. It was the best discovery I ever made, I have it on my computer, obviously, but have added it to my phone as well and it's so unobtrusive yet the absolute best for security and add blocking. Don't let the name fool you, it's multifunctional. Can't give enough praise and recommendations!!! Edited
