An excellent product. The content is superb. Wish I could say the same about my experience with the app. When creating large custom sessions (entire body systems) the app becomes very laggy; dare I say unusable. The session is downloaded but the initial loading takes quite some time with tons of "AMBOSS has stopped." popus, though it loads if I wait long enough. Enalrging an image and then going back to the question causes even more extreme lag. Please have a look into it.

the 2* rating is only for the app, not AMBOSS itself. it is crazy to not give the ability to create new question sets internally though the app. Uworld allows you to do that simply and sync between devices. this is a glaring oversight that should be fixed to make this a competitive company. The mobile configuration of the website makes it tedious to navigate on the phone and med students don't always have their laptops.

AMBOSS qbank is actually on par with UWORLD in terms of quality of questions. However, as stated in many other reviews, the app needs a lot of help. First and foremost, I think they should have highlighting be an option. This app is practically unusable because there's no way to highlight and you can't answer a long-ass question stem without highlighting. Edit: that's not true, you can't highlight question stems even on browser mobile app! Edited

Working questions on your phone is pretty straightforward with this app. The app would be better if: 1. The highlight function worked 2. You could see sessions you have in progress on your desktop from the app (you can't see them until they're complete right now) 3. Clicked links directed you to the material for review in the knowledge app. Using your internet browser resolves these issues, which defeats the purpose of an app. Not a rip on Amboss itself, which is great, but thea pps are meh.

Amboss online is great, their apps are not. It's silly to not be able to do questions from an already created study plan (like Step 2 CK). The app only allows you to answer questions from already started sessions or you have to make a new custom question session. And you have to download the session? It's super weird. Having multiple apps is weird too but I give that a pass since the other one has all their articles compiled. But seriously, this app should be able to access/create study plans.
