There is a new pop up screen that pushes the nearly $300 license. It forces itself on you before connecting and randomly pops up during the session. It has a timer on the X like a bad mobile game that prevents you from doing anything else until it is done. I only use this to connect to my personal computer and laptops, so the reply bot is lying if claims business use. You used to be the good one AnyDesk. Shame on you.

Latest: Anydesk unleashed a new Ad/Delay Wall and "Professional User" message (whatever that means) which prevents use for the better part of a minute when trying to control a remote device. Sad, as it used to be the best on the market by a wide margin. TeamViewer is actually better now, especially for the Android platform, but it has its quirks too, so as a result I'm in the process of transitioning my handful of IOT devices I need remote access for to RustDesk community open source edition. After the developer's response: The "new" pop-up is not business use related. It shows up in any free version according to online forums. I was using it in my LAN with 3 devices. The pop-up says "Did you know? The free version of AnyDesk supports only a limited number of devices" Original Review: It started showing 50 seconds nag screens to upgrade for $274.80 a year. It is not even one nag screen per session. It shows up randomly. It is garbage now. Switched to open source RustDesk. Edited

AnyDesk’s free version is for personal use only. Frequent use can trigger the professional use detection, but if you are not using AnyDesk as a professional you can submit a whitelisting request that is linked to the pop-up. This helps keep free use fair for everyone.

Useless if you want to manage your computer at home when you're away. If you log in on both computer and phone, you still don't have access to your remote unless you type the address code. BUT if I could read it, I could already use it! If I'm using a remote app is because I don't have access to the remote computer. This way can't be used and I really don't understand the point kf logging in. I add my credentials on both devices for what reason exactly? Delusional.

Using version 7.0.0 because this version works. However, now I always have to manually update my other apps one by one so I can skip updating Anydesk. I did know a workaround to disconnect with the latest version but forgot how I did it. Regardless, it was unusable like others have said. Version 7.0 works and you can get it from the website "up to down" or another place that has previous versions of apps.
