Love the magazine itself but the app is Soo buggy. I can't ever log in always tells me wrong password. And the emails sent to me don't ever allow me to claim the deals being offered through the app. I own all but the last few issues but can't currently get in to read anything. Would give more stars if I could at least access my stuff I have paid for. Now I don't have everything I paid for and no one will contact me even after email a week ago. Terrible don't waste time or money!!!!! Edited

I've just reinstalled this app and resubscribed after a period away from it. Whilst the layout of the magazine looks great and offers so much, unfortunately it provides very little. None of the + sign or "Scroll For More" links work which means an awful lot of content is completely unavailable. For example, I can't see Michael Wood's view at all, or any of the book reviews, or a lot of other articles and additional information. I really can't understand how this ever got released. It's not just buggy, it simply doesn't work. I shall be cancelling my subscription because there's really no point paying for it.

Unashamedly asks for money from the very beginning. I am certain that, if I pay, the quality will be high. But shedding more money than I can afford for the sake of culture and learning is not what I was looking for, and there wasn't written that it isn't a free app, which is not fair play. UK's BBC thinks it is so precious and unique, but I will find free alternatives in other languages: stuff in French from Canada, France, Switzerland, Belgium, French-speaking Africa. Readily uninstalled.

I have a subscription to the paper magazine and can access all the back issues etc through the website perfectly. However, despite the instruction on the app, my log in for the website will not work for the app. Waste of time really... Edited

Love the History magazine. However difficult sometimes to find where I left off reading. A bookmark function would help. Also I wish there were a way to have the crossword on the app ! Edited
