Works very well. I misunderstood the passive GPS tracking. I ordered this because I thought when our cat came home I could scan the tag and download a map showing where he went. It just shows that my age is affecting my interaction with technology! It's still a great product though. Most people don't have a microchip reader, but most people do have a phone that can scan a QR code. This makes it very simple for someone to find a pet's owner.

Setting up the app is difficult. It will not retain any information entered. When the tag is scanned it requires the person scanning to download the app. I do not receive notification of the scan as stated. This is not as advertised. I am dissatisfied with the product. Deserves 1 star, I give 2 stars only because I believe this is a good concept.

Easy to use! My dog hasn't gotten loose, so I can't really review on that. but if he does get loose, I will update this review accordingly!

I purchased this pet tag on Amazon, and the product description was misleading regarding app and subscription requirements. While I'm willing to pay for services, I'm frustrated by the lack of transparency and what feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. My rating reflects this deceptive marketing, not the quality of the tag or app itself.

it was easy to set up. if you want extras you have to pay a monthly fee. Which I was not ready for.
