This app is absolute garbage. You're thinking it can't possibly be that bad, but words can't describe how awful it is. People should be fired over this. It rarely connects on first try. When it does connect, it requires that you keep your phone unlocked with the screen on. It disconnects in the middle of a ride and won't reconnect. If you are buying a Ducati with the intention of using navigation or pairing with your phone then just give up now and buy either a phone mount or dedicated GPS.

Dear Michael, thank you for your report. We would like to inform you that Ducati, together with its partners, is actively working to improve the service offered and that the system requires you to keep the app in foreground in vehicle mode. If you have any needs, please contact our Ducati Support team. Thank you, The Ducati Team

I can not wrap my head around how an app with so much potential can come up so short. When navigation works its actually not bad, but why limit to just one navigation app, it would be great to have waze or Google maps as an option. I keep reading that the bike comes with premium Sygic navigation but mine keeps telling me to upgrade to premium. No one stores music in mp3 files anymore the days of Napster and lime wire are long gone, so why is spotify, pandora, any other music app not an option.

Dear User, thank you for your report. We would like to inform you that with the new Multistrada V4 S and V4 S Sport, Ducati includes a free Sygic premium license linked to the bike's VIN, which will be automatically activated when the phone is connected to the bike via Ducati Connect. We remain at your disposal, thank you, Ducati team.

It's OK. Not terribly stable and it needs exclusive use of the phone, so you can't run the Sygic navigation and stream music at the same time. There seems to be potential for Connect to incorporate many more apps but I guess no other developer is creating more apps to run in this shell, so it probably won't progress much further.

Dear Steve, thank you for the feedback. At the moment the only compatible app is Sygic, which we provide a free Premium licence. However Ducati is actively working with its suppliers to improve the service offered. If you have any needs, please contact our team: https://www.ducati.com/ww/en/company/customer-service Thank you, the Ducati team.

Honestly, even 1 Star is still too much. Ducati should definitely stick with building bikes and not try to program Apps. I ride a V4 Pikes peak and if I place my phone in the compartment it overheats within minutes. Keeping it in the jacket and you might end up that the screen is pressed and therefore the Navigation stops. Talking about Navigation, Sygic is by far the worst navigation app I ever had to use. It literally finds nothing. Not even Café's that are at the same location for many years

Invasive. Had to uninstall as the the latest version of app automatically starts every time you start the bike and, with its need to be always on and in front, messes up your other apps and connections. Also had to turn off some options on Bluetooth connection to bike. Why can't the phone be the master unit like with other connections and apps? Is this made by Ducati and Bosch or a teenager in their bedroom!
