Extremely disappointed by the bait-and-switch. If the scanner requires a server API then rate limit it. If you need a revenue stream beyond affiliate links then use ads. One time cost would have been better (though likely still negatively received). Subscriptions are the absolute worst. Worse than requiring tipping for picking up takeout. Scanning was finicky while it lasted but usually eventually worked. May have considered tracking inventory but no longer.

When I tried to open the app, it would only give me 2 options "love the app" or "not so much". if I click not so much, it brings me to their webpage. Going back to the app, it's the same 2 selection. I had to click I love it before it adds 2 extra buttons to review the app, or not now. Same issue. I have to keep pressing the I love the app multiple times to get to using the camera. Then, what's up with only 12 uses. All it wants now is $$$.

When it worked it worked fine, but it would often take a long time to identify CMF from the codes on the box or I'd have to restart the app multiple times before it would scan again. But now they want to charge a subscription fee for what was previously a free app? Easily the worst decision. I'd rather have ads on the app or pay a one time fee. regardless I'll be looking for alternatives, I suggest anyone else do the same.

Good, but not great. The qr scanner is SLOW, regardless of what network or wifi you are connected. That qr data could be stored in the app and speed it up. The quality of the qr code that is being read is equally important; so if LEGO is just printing bad codes that isn't the app's fault. I notice even crisp codes are slow to load, and the scanner is slower and less functional after the last update. I'd pay for this app or even $0.99 a month if it worked properly. It's far from that so far.

Used to work fine but now it boots to TV static. 😅 Seeing the latest update though, this isn't a loss. Scanning Minifigures now requires a subscription and ultimately for how little I used it, I'm happy using a regular QR scanner (like Google Lens) and using a lookup table rather than paying for that one feature, and a number of other features already offered for free by websites like Rebrickable. The UI worked pretty well for me when I first got it, but the paywall and current glitch... 😅
