I've tried several programs for displaying photos and this is simply the best. It works great just with the default settings ('out of the box'), but there are also a lot of powerful options that you can configure if you want to experiment or read the manual. Unlike most apps, it has a pretty hefty manual. And the developers are fantastic about support.

(Edit: took 14 months for dev to respond). Wanted this to work so badly. Bought the license for a tablet hoping more settings would open up, allowing the tablet, once locked, to auto start playing the video I need for a digital display in store. Played fine when the tablet was on & I had entered the tablet pin. But if a customer pushes the 'off' button on the tablet, the app doesn't allow for a screensaver mode where the video will start playing again. Had to ask for refund. Edited

Only system Apps can prevent the power button from turning off the tablet. App developers cannot do this, its reserved for the Android OS.

The app looks like it will do just what I need it to. Lots of well thought out settings and solid performance.Beyond that, when there was a feature that I asked the developer about, he stated that it would take a change in the program to make it work like that... before I even got back to him to ask if it was possible, or when it MIGHT happen he replied again to say he pushed an update to Google Play with the feature I was hoping for!

FINALLY. An app that actually works and does exactly what I wanted it to do. You simply drop a new video file into Dropbox with DropSync also installed and the media player adds the new file to the video playback AUTOMATICALLY and WITHOUT interruption! Bloody brilliant.

I have and use it daily for our super active 55+ community. Works like a dream and is so simple to use. Just design your graphic, vid clips or load website adress... Just perfect. Getting ready to put up another screen at the exercise facility in our little liece of paradise. BurningThumb you are incredible!
