It is incredibly frustrating that there's no way to access the analysis board for positions in the app. If you're doing a tactics course for example, sometimes you will make the wrong move and the author won't explain why your move is wrong. Using the engine to check the move is a natural step and one that is available on the website but inexplicably not in the app. Huge miss and something people have been asking for on the forums for FIVE YEARS.

Thanks for your feedback! We understand how useful the analysis board would be in the app. Some features are currently web-only, but we’ve shared this with the team for consideration. We’ll keep working to improve the app experience. Thanks again!

There are quality lessons on here. Unfortunately, I paid for the full version for the sole purpose of offline usability, and this feature is incredibly buggy and unreliable. Lost much progress several times. Seems like a very simple thing for them to screw up, so I assume they must not care. Edited

There are some features from the browser version I'd like integrated into the app, particularly in regards to adding additional filter and sorting options when browsing the courses store. A few options in your course settings also appear to be missing in the app. Otherwise a stellar app, I love grinding puzzle books on it Edited

The chess board defaults to the smallest possible size. The size can be increased, but then you unable move the pieces. This happens on my tablet and my phone. On the tablet it negates the point of using a bigger device, and on the phone it makes the app effectivly unusable. This has been an issue for a few months already and I'm not the first to complain.

This is more frustrating than instructive. I'm sure the lessons are great, but the UI is clunky, and if your instructor isn't graded explaining something and you missed the drill it gives you the answer right away instead of giving you another try. Having the timer start while you're still reading instructions makes for hasty decisions. there is no way to digest what is being taught
