For the most part, it's fine. What irritates me the most is that every time I get a code sent to me, it creates a "new child" instead of just adding the class to an existing child profile. I currently have 4 active profiles for my son and 3 for my daughter. I have to go through and delete multiple old profiles every new school year. You want us to pay for the app to keep memories from years past, but I would have no less than 30 profiles between 2 kids if I saved them all! Just ridiculous!!!!

I have used Class Dojo for years in my Pre-k classroom. It is great to keep in touch with parents individually and as a group. I adjust Dojo points to make challenges and celebrate when I "catch" the kids doing something great. I use the free version because it has the simple things, but there are still so many cool features in it that I haven't touched yet. I only wish I could message my assistant on Dojo. I also wish I could somehow monitor her messages because I am ultimately responsible.

We are so glad to hear that ClassDojo is helpful to you 😄 You can message any other teacher in your school on ClassDojo as well! If you're not setup as a school yet, you will need to make that change (don't worry, it's also free!). As for monitoring messages, you might consider using Group Chats!

Was loving the app, but now I'm unable to even sign into the app. I'm stuck in the cycle of choosing "parent", being shown my logged in account, clicking on it, and then being taken back to the "parent, teacher, student" page. I have the latest update, so I don't understand what's wrong..... Edit: Contacted support, and they helped me fix the issue immediately, so I changed my rating. Thankful for the help. Would love to give 5 stars once the ability to search story is made possible. Edited

I think it's a great app to stay in touch with teachers and see what the classrooms are doing first hand. It's also a great place to find out announcements and events the school is hosting for students and families! I'm not too familiar with the points system, but I plan to use it with my kiddo in the hopes it is rewarding his good deeds and chores completion.

As a way to stay connected with my child's schoolwork and teachers, the app is mediocre at best. As a source of endlessly nagging me to upgrade to "mediocre Plus", this app is amazing. Every time I open the app, and every interaction within it, I'm encouraged to "smash that subscribe button" and upgrade. Thanks PVI for thoroughly researching all the available options for parent/teacher edu apps, and settling on this one!
