This is a terrific app. I switched to it from MyFitnessPal and never looked back. I'm a data junkie, and the level of detail in this app is just amazing. My only complaint is that the iOS version has a home screen widget to let me add water, but there is no water widget for the Android home screen. You have to actually go into the chronometer app each time to add water or see or water intake. If the developer ever adds a water widget for Android phones, I'll change my review to five stars. Very frustrated with the new ads system. I've been using this app for over a year and loved it. Suddenly I'm getting ads every time I open the app. The ads are loud, disruptive and so frustrating, makes me want to throw my phone. I am considering finding another app. I notice that several people are commenting about this and the responses claim it's a bug that they figured out, yet I'm still getting the ads... :(

The ads are too much, this app was great before they started this obnoxious and unrelenting ad placement. I've used it for a year or so and I never saw any ads. I get it you have to turn some sort of profit and if you can't get enough subs then you have to do ads. Do you really need a full screen interruption of what I'm doing literally every 3 min?!?! This needs to be fixed you give the impression your trying to annoy your users into a paid sub which is a sure fire way to lose users.

The app works pretty well. It synced easily with my smartwatch. I like that water consumption is prominent and easy to add. The macro targets are appropriate. A few notes: - the most recent update broke the barcode scanner. It no longer works at all. - when I do strength training it logs calories from my watch, I think from my elevated heart rate. When I add strength training separately after, I wonder if it is double counting my calorie expenditure. - It's not clear how to track your weight.

This app used to be good but without even breaching the issue of ad frequency and volume, recent updates have made it a nuisance. Features that used to be intuitive like the deficit slider are now hidden behind several menus. The Daily Report that pops up everytime I open the app feels like adware, when its just a part of the app. And most of all I shouldnt have to go on a hunt throughout the internet to figure out how to access/turn off these things because the faq doesnt cover it.
