At least in Michigan, dashers are not trustworthy and do not ever read the special instructions. I've had my food stolen before, and had creepy dashers using fake names. There should be an option to block dashers so you are not assigned the same people again! The maps are also not accurate whatsoever, for the restaurant or for my house, despite fixing my location multiple times. Must be confusing for the dashers. And of course, I must add, that even with dashpass the fees are just ridiculous. Edited

Ordering is normally great, but suddenly, I have a pin on my account. Based on what I've read, it's from too many issues with my order being delivered. However, that is not possible when for the last 6 months I haven't had a single issue and I've only ever had 3 issues from orders not being delivered properly last year!! At first, I was able to toggle it off, but now I can't even do that, I want zero contact with my driver. Now I have to message them, which yes is an inconvenience. Edited

there's so many problems with the app there's not enough characters to list them here. Same restaurants listed multiple times while also not showing all the open restaurants on the main page. Inaccurate addresses, my dasher was sent to a random trailer park instead of the restaurant once. Some restaurants are impossible to order from because their page has required selections but no options to choose and many more. I thought it'd get fixed quickly but it's been like this for over a year now. Edited

DoorDash lost a customer today. I've been with the app for years and spent Thousands (saved over $8k in fees with dashpass) but I can't continue to use them for the simple fact that a horrible McDonald's opened closer to my location, the worst rated one in the state and they won't let me choose the better one just down the road, but UberEats will, UE also has better UI, it's cheaper, they have discount codes all the time, you can upload drop off pictures and they have more menu options.

Deceptive with hidden fees; delivery fee is displayed, but they also hide a "service fee" under the "taxes" section (just to clarify; it's not a tax), which can vary in cost. "Deals" price threshold also creep up overtime, which is a bit reminiscent of price fixing. Dash Pass advertises it removes delivery fees, but then like half the options have a fee anyways (and there is always a varying service fee). They also skim drivers tips. Edited
