I've used Messagease for 16+ years now. But now that it's gone to a subscription model, I abandoned it completely. I tried a variety of other keyboards... but nothing could compare. After googling for a while, I found thumb-key. It has the same key configuration, but the letter, are arranged differently. I was so pleased to see that I could arrange the keys to be the same as messageease, in the settings. So... I didn't need to have a learning curve. There are minor differences, most good

Superb. I've used Messagease for years, but since it self-destructed I've been searching for a replacement, and have finally found it in Thumb-Key. (It's free on several platforms but I've bought the Play Store version to support the developer.)

Great keyboard! Still learning it but I love the split keyboard and featurefull without feeling bloated. Would love a transparent setting and a floating setting so I can type higher up and see the whole screen. Autocorrect words to choose from would be great too! still 10/10 for doing exactly what it needs. Honestly needs to be advertised more as im lucky I found it.

Glad that MessageEase went to subscription. It forced to me to find Thumb-Key which I much prefer. It doesn't include some MessageEase features that I rarely used or turned off if I could so I'm very happy. I was having some issues with accuracy due to upgrades over the years that are not a problem in Thumb-Key Edited

Im really liking this app. As a former MessageEase user I had to jump ship after developers forced users to a monthly subscription based model. I'd like to see more layout/themes or better customization so I can control my own color scheme. Other than that this app is pretty close to perfect! I'm very happy with this app. Edited
