A pretty fun game, If not fairly grindy at times. Though, my campaign has been completely softlocked by an idiotically placed ad right after the mission where you have to defend a radio tower from 3 separate attacks. Generally, an ad will play after a level or when you're just doing things on your home base, but this one completely broke the quest system by playing right as the new quests were being processed, preventing me from getting the next quest and completely locking up the storyline. Fun game. Lacks good tutorial length and depth. Biggest downside, and I mean HUGE, the constant ads. The stupid things won't stop. I can understand the ads to get rewards, but there are many of the ads that randomly pop up, don't give a reward, just make you watch them. And the worst part...you can't pay to make them go away. It would be a 4 star rating if there was a pay option to remove ads. Even if it wasn't a forever remove, just a monthly sub.

It's a huge improvement from the first game, adding a variety of features and mechanics that allows players to grow their own base and personal turrets. But when I reached the first boss, it was insane! Guided rockets swarmed my tower almost every 10 seconds, and my my turrets were shocked into submission, rendering them immobile and useless against the high damage rocket swarm. There was also a bug on the boss where power-ups are still fuctioning when it says they're not allowed for the level.

I do enjoy the game but I would change a few things. During battles: when you upgrade a tower there is no indication of which towers are the strongest. You have to select each individual tower to see the stats. I also wish you could select for certain towers to ignore units, such as wasp only attacking air at certain times. At base: when upgrading units there is no indication about what the parts are doing. It's too easy to recycle upgrades, should have to confirm. Interface is a bit cluttered.

They took a good game and made it from a really fun tower defense into one of those games where you have to juggle money income, eleruim income, collect your daily rewards, sent people here to do that, fly over here to do this.... Tower defense game. That's what I liked about the first one. This one is so hard to actually get to do missions with all the juggling you have to do (and the ads you have to dodge). I've replayed the first one many times. This one... I doubt I'll ever finish it.
