I haven't used any other flight trackers so I don't have anything to compare this to. There are a lot of filters so it's a very customizable platform. It was great as a free app but then they only gave you 5 minutes for free and charged a monthly rate. And then they raised their monthly rate. It's fun to use but not so fun that I want to keep paying for the same app and functions that used to be free. So I downgraded back to the 5 minute limit free version. Edited

I've been using this app for several months & it has been very useful. There will be a learning curve for those not accustomed to such apps or sites but "it's not rocket science". However, I encountered an issue over the past week. I emailed the developer & received a reply in less than an hour. The solution to my issue was easily resolved. This app has given me pleasure during these times and the excellent customer service is a plus.

The app runs well, and it performs exactly as advertised. The reason for 4 stars, not 5, is that flights do not move once you open the app. You can open and close the app to get flight path/new location, but it does not show "real time". There may be something I'm doing incorrectly on my part.

In 3D press the 'Fast' button to get planes to fly smoothly otherwise movement should be every 3 or so seconds. Also servers may be playing up a bit due to usage overloading or maintenance.

Changed my review back to 5 Stars. I had a problem with the app and CodingRealLife helped work it out quickly. Very much appreciated. I purchased the app and have really enjoyed it for a number of years. It is absolutely the best and only flight tracker out there with a no-BS interface. The radar type approach is crisp and uncluttered. The realtime experience really syncs well with liveATC. Listen to ATC, watch the aircraft responses in realtime. Very cool. Edited

This was exactly what I was looking for. I'm a paramotor pilot and for some added safety I was looking for traffic alerts of nearby aircraft. One big downside is that the app doesn't give traffic notifications if its in the background, as I might switch between other apps (such a flight logging and camera). If I don't have this open on the screen, I don't get any notification. Tried disabling all battery saving functions but didn't help.
