Make sure to download the free Tour App before you go into the Mansions! It gives so much great info!! Beautiful Mansions! The app helped me understand and appreciate the priceless art work plus pointed out many things in each of the rooms! Kudos to The Preservation Society for offering free parking and the free Tour app!! ( plus all their hard word keeping this part of history alive for us!)

Although the self-guided audio tour on the app does not replace a human tour guide that you can ask questions of, it was a well-organized and informative tour. I do have one piece of constructive criticism. Perhaps the preservation society should sell earbuds or headsets at a very reasonable price so individuals can put one ear piece in while they walk around versus some people walking around with the volume amplified.

This app doesn't allow you to download the individual tours after you download the app from playstore. I have a pixel 2 and wouldn't recommend, was told by the employees working in the mansion that this happens with Android phones. Was very disappointed since I'd bought tickets for 2 mansions prior to knowing this issue...used the brochures they provide in the mansion to navigate and read some history. The people inside helped in giving some background, hope they bring the guided tours back.

I like the multi lingual tour. Great for people who don't know English. However, the app always automatically stopped and needed to start again. overall, I like this app.

It won't install in my Android phone! why is that, 🤔🤔🤔... thanks for ruining my visit to the mansions 20230925 - there's plenty of storage space and the app did not require to allow any permissions for installation; app store only showed installation is pending; Internet connection was thru The Breakers free wi-fi and TMo's mobile internet connection. However, the app installed after I returned to Providence, RI using home Internet connection. Edited
