The functionality of this new app is way worse than the previous one. This app does not act as an overlay that can automatically fill usernames and passwords in applications. You have to login into the Password Manager, search for the account you want and copy the password into the clipboard (as normal text, instead of 'sensitive information' as in the previous app) and then paste into the login screen. You also have to write the username by hand. Why on earth did the developers take steps backwards in the usability of this app?

The app constantly signs out, both on mobile and on desktop browsers, including asking for MFA on a device that has already been signed in. We should not be asked to reauthenticate with MfA multiple times a day on the same device without an option to trust a device that has already authenticated. The same goes for constant master password re-entry on browser relaunch, or launching a different browser. While it is less secure to allow constant signin, this should be an option in the settings.

Update: After postingbthe review the autofill started to work. No idea why. Functionality is betteer now. Trust in the app still needs to grow with me though. Without any warning the 'old' password manager stoped working. After some hassel an fairly cryptic instructions i got things working on pc side and after exporting and imprting things looked ok. On the android side of things not so much though. The app seems to have all the passworss, but no auto fill in chrome on android what so ever. Edited

20th March just uninstalled Eset Password manager as had enough after two weeks of trying and the app does not work on firefox nor chrome. All settings were double checked and the way they should. Word to the wise at tech support, when we explain explicitly the problem on the phone you should know the steps to fix the problem, not ask for a log and screen shots. You did not even go through the setup of the app on my One Plus 8! Edited

This, so far, is JUNK. I cannot import my passwords from Google Chrome (and yes, I followed the correct directions, and tried troubleshooting and Help searches) Funny though, when I search the terms "import file troubleshooting" in the HELP page - NOTHING COMES UP. Hmmmm.... didn't think that through did you? With the extra (and large) amount of money I paid for the Eset Home Security products for 2 devices for 3 years I would have hoped to have a mobile friendly product. Apparently, no.
