Not very accurate at all, and you only get 2 scans every 2 hours... I scanned a picture of what is clearly either a water snake or juvenile boa, and it gave me several different answers using the same picture, both venomous and non-venomous... Yikes! I wouldn't recommend this app! Definitely don't pay for it...

i saw the added on words "reptile identifier" and was excited. unfortunately, I could not get to the final species idebtification of a common type of gecko i had found. then I got a photo of an ameiva species, which it was able to get to the genus level, but unfortunately, the incorrect genus. wish I had a snake photo to test! then I could really find out if this works!

gave it very easy photos of snakes and it got them wrong. I would not recommend it as it doesn't work even after many tries and photos of different species.

Tested this several times now, and it's impressively innacurate. Cat Snakes are corn snakes, boas are milk snakes. It would be hard to be less accurate on purpose.

this app identified the same snake as 3 different species depending on the pic i took of the snake.
