I used to love this app but after I had to cancel, they kept trying to charge me. When I emailed support, they said my email address didn't have an account with Fender Play but it was the only email I used and they kept trying to charge me despite canceling. If I log into the app or even on my browser, it won't let me past the screen where you choose a subscription. I can't even manage my account. This app was very good at one point but now it feels scammy.

I normally use the desktop to access the lessons but the app comes in handy and I find myself using it. Haven't had any crashes or bugs so far. As far as the content, it has actually helped me progress more in the last 3 months then every time I've decided I wanted to "learn" guitar. (I've been "learning" to play guitar off and on over the past 6 years. This is my longest streak so it has that going for it. Edited

This works great for me! I've always had a hard time remembering tabs and chords from reading a book. With the combination of having the video, and somebody showing me the finger position... it's great for me! Plus, there's a huge library of songs in a bunch of different genres of music. And finally... it's not only for guitar. But for bass and ukelele!

Fender just gave 3 free months to me for free. No credit card. They meant it. Such a great gesture to do for music fans or anyone for that matter during this horrific crisis. I don't even play a fender right now.Ive been wanting one though. That's besides the point. Great thing for a big company to do just something small for people possibly going crazy right now. Thank you Fender.

Great app. I've played guitar on and off for 20+ years but never really mastered the instrument (I'm a drummer mostly). Have found the app to be great not only with techniques but also theory. I'm already better than I ever was after just several weeks. Learn at your own pace. Take a break and do skills or learn a new song at your level. I've tried other apps (yousician) and the fender app it in my opinion much better.
