Love the app, the instructors are great, fun and informative. Good selection of musical genres to choose from. Love the range of lessons offered from learn a Riff, to learn a full song, picking and strumming techniques, lessons/songs rated on level of difficulty which is accurate. It provides relevant information for guitarists of all levels. The instructors have a knack of breaking down the lesson into manageable sections which makes learning fun and you make progress.

I'm just now learning guitar. I had no previous experience, so when I bought my guitar kit, fender play was offered free for 3 months. It started off rocky for me, and I almost got discouraged, but I'm staying with it. I'm learning new things with each course. The lessons are easy to follow and the teachers do a great job of explaining everything. Thanks fender for a amazing app. Edited

Great app! Easy to use and very informative! My first instrument is drums and I decided to finally try and learn a little guitar from an organized approach instead of watching YouTube videos. Nothing wrong with either of those approaches because they are handy, especially if you're already able to play a little bit. i like the fact that you learn to read rhythm almost immediately. I was already adept at that but it's nice to see how the program builds skills from the ground up. Very handy app! Edited

Nearly finished with level 3 and this has been a fantastic resource for me to learn the guitar from the ground up. This in conjunction with some YouTube videos on theory has taught me so much about the instrument. My only complaint is the song selection at the moment, but new tracks are added very frequently. If you are just starting out, this app is great and worth every penny so far.

The teaching aspects were great from the parts I was able to do. The app constantly crashes on me in the middle of lessons or when I go to switch to the next video. It also messed with my phone having the sounds of games, videos and more sound fuzzy, crackles and makes videos very choppy and as soon as i un installed this app everything else sounded and looked they way it is suppose to. I'm very sad I had to get rid of this app, if issues get fixed I'd be more than willing to download again
