I would say this is a good app to find flights, it can show planes nearby, and you can look up and see, but it has a few issues. For example, using the AR feature, it only works best when the plane is close, because the arrow is always pointing at the wrong place, and the box is covering the plane on camera. And in the feature, it has a tiny map with a slide to have the radar look farther for planes, but they always show the plane facing the wrong way, so I think it's going my way, but it isn't. Edited

As a Gold member, I'm disappointed in the removal of the previous filter options. I like the new custom filters, but I can no longer quickly filter for a single aircraft type. It's either filter for all commercial jets, or create a custom filter and save it for a single commercial jet type I want to quickly view. But once I'm at 24 custom filters, I have to go and remove the quickly aircraft type and enter a new one. For example, see what 747 are flying=create custom filter, vs quickly select.

I enjoy "watching" the takeoffs/arrivals and flight paths of who all are "up there". The immensity of flight in this country and around is truly amazing, and this app makes it much easier to understand. It also helps me, I don't fly often, appreciate the complexity and work that must go in to keeping the system moving and SAFE. Edited

This is a great app. It's very helpful for learning about flights and aviation. I enjoy seeing photos of many of the airplanes. The advertisements are not too troublesome on the free version, so props to the makers of the app! Right now I have the 3-month free trial of premium, which makes it ad-free and unlocks more features and information. I especially like how the premium version shows the age of the aircraft. I saw a jet fly over, and the app showed it's a brand new plane-- an amazing app!

Pop-up ads have gotten to the point where I have to force close the app and reopen it in order to get rid of the ad! I don't mind having ads in apps that are free but this is ridiculous!! - reply to developer: I don't mind the popups. I think the developer is missing the point. I shouldn't have to force close the app once an ad is done playing. I should be able to close the ad and go back to using the app. Like I used to! Going by their response, I guess they're doing it on purpose. Edited
