This is a great idea, the disc with built in pics are very clear. If you are hooking it up to your phone, make sure you go into settings & ap settings & allow smART projector to make changes. also turn on your blue tooth, & allow access to other devices. Also found in settings. It is very easy to use after you allow this ap to make changes to your phone. The projector doesn't have good enough pixels for fine detail, but we were able to trace photos of photos without issues.

Downloading and installing app was easy enough; connecting to sketcher and downloading sketches was a bit of a hassle, though. At first, I enabled bluetooth and connected just by tapping the name of the smART sketcher, but that wasn't good enough for the app. I had to disconnect the device and wait for it to connect through app. It took around 15 minutes to download the preset sketches; I had to turn off screen timeout on phone since every time the phone screen went black, it restarted from 0... After those few small annoyances, daughter was pleased with sketcher; it seems to be working and doing what it should be doing.

09/24/19 : I was worried at first because of all the negative reviews. Although, it works perfect for my son and I! Every time! You must have your Bluetooth AND location on at the same time and have the phone somewhat close when connecting. Once connected, you're good to go! My son loves when I use my phone to upload photos to his projector. Love it!

I had been using this smart sketcher and having no problems. Recently updated app not sure if that was the problem or not but now I cannot get my phone to sync with the app. Have gone through all the troubleshooting that I can find. Location is on Bluetooth is enabled uninstalled and reinstalled app it simply will not find the Bluetooth on my phone when it's looking. Help!

Please read the reviews below for great troubleshooting advice. I followed what they said and had only one issue but it was an easy fix. You must make sure to have your location turned on as well as give permission to the app to use your location. Also make sure you connect through the app, not bluetooth. I hope this helps, it is a really cool app! Edited
