This is a good app when the experience is consistent. As of right now, I am unable to download any videos and they all give the same error. Also, allowing downloads over network would be great.. It is important for me to download videos because I live where I dont get service or wifi, so I just really want to be able to download videos as needed. I am a musician who uses samples and youtube is my main source at the moment. Otherwise, great app and I hope it continues to improve.

My review was originally written, not understanding anything besides the peertube plugin was not installed. All the features you could ask for from an online video player are here. It's a bit unclear that you need the plugins to find the content from other platforms, which initially I believed youtube and twitch (etc.) would be added after purchasing a license. this is a great way to view online content without all the drawbacks of traditional platforms and their proprietary apps. Amazing app! Some QoL needed but that's to be expected. (This is for the version you can download from the web.) Needs a filter subscriptions by platform and the ability to detect redundant subscriptions. YouTube import is strangely slow. I think it needs to be implied that you want to import, not go back and dig deeper after you add a new source. Just little things. Super promising. Sponsor block and dislike counter is a bonus! I love it, a little spit polish and it will change the world. Notes: The hitbox for the "add to queue" button is super tiny, and if you miss, it plays the video instead of adding it, which clears the entire queue. Super annoying. Queue also clears when the app closes or crashes at random. The queue is one of my favorite features, adding a dozen videos at once is super convenient. But the fact that you can accidentally wipe it out so easily makes it a little frustrating to use.

Looks like a great app! I love the features it provides, even if it feels a little clunky and gives random error popups, hence the 4 stars for now. Technically it is not a free app (or heavily requested to pay). I do believe this app should be a paid app, but I am cutting all expenses for a season to reach a financial goal. Therefore, I have uninstalled it for now, but I will gladly reinstall it once I clear my goal and pay for it in full.
