Well, I originally downloaded this app so I can send in photo's and videos from my area, but that feature seemed to have disappeared completely. Then the constant notifications are really annoying as well. I only have the Blues and weather selected, yet I'm getting notifications for everything. Otherwise it's a well organized app and works well. For now, I'm going to uninstall this app, till the amount of notifications get fixed; and the 'sending them photos and videos' feature to come back.

Stale and limited content. Same stories on site for days at a time. Also same stories under multiple banners (i.e trending, national, nation world, etc). Now you have destroyed the stand alone weather app. It was the best. Whoever decided to kill the weather app and leave only what is in the news app obviously doesn't even use it. I just want to see the weather, I don't want to spend 3 minutes just getting to that section only to get what the current weather is. I can open the door and get that. Edited

OMG! What have you done to your app??!! I hadn't updated it since I installed it in August 2020 because it was great!! Now, the 10-day forecast, current temp, everything is disabled, so I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, and now wish I hadn't bothered. This app is now just useless. Terrible app now. 7/15/21: Your update didn't work. Still crashing. Totally useless. 0 stars. 12/10/21: Deleted and reinstalled update. Crashed on me 3 times trying to get thru one article. Worse than before.-3 stars. Edited

You know, I am trying to determine when a tornado might be near me and thought "hey, let me download the KSDK app and watch live coverage of the alert!" In almost comical fashion, before I can watch the live coverage, I have to watch an ad for an ambulance chasing law firm in the area. I'm sure there are plenty of wonderful things about this app, but you've failed at providing the one reason everyone in the area would use the app, to cover emergency situations. The app is a joke. I miss the old arch Newschannel 5 logo, badly. Wishing that TEGNA/KSDK would bring the design back for that is not the reason why rating have diminished for the operation. The 5 On Your Side App is very good in issuing notifications. News stories, features, and video display smoothly without technical bug issues. The layout is colorful. 5 On Your Side is a mantra banner. Suggestion: Switch the KSDK's news department's branding back to 'Eyewitness News' just as powerhouse WLS TV Chicago has done.
