We pay more than it's worth for both the print and digital editions. Despite that and much too frequently, when I use the app and try to read the details beyond the headlines of each story, I get a notice that it's for subscribers only. Bad enough when there was a link to sign in and you had to sign in again. Lately, there's not even a link. I get the Washington Post and New York Times without those issues.

This app has always been unreliable and problematic. Works for a while then doesn't for no apparent reason. Now that hurricane in area and I'm trying to follow, but app won't open at all! It's not a problem with my subscription as it doesn't get that far, just blank screen for a second or so then back to my phones home screen. Not having issues with any other app. Have uninstalled, rebooted phone and reinstalled. Same thing. For a "reliable" news organization this app is very unreliable!!!

APP repeatedly asks for people to subscribe or if the have an account to sign in. Once you sign in it frequently ignores that and asks for the same thing again and again. Once "in" and you start selecting and reading articles the APP will all of a sudden ask again to subscribe or sign in and the whole process starts again. It is absolutely ridiculous. Edited

I pay my bill monthly (autopay) and I have to still sign in several times a day. Now it's saying I have to pay $2.99 to access what I've already paid for. This is ludicrous! I'm about finished with TDO.

Contents are excellent. iOS works well, but the Android app can be buggy. I know of some Boomers that say they can't find content, but there is a search feature. Links to previous articles continue the story arc.
