After how many years, still can't delete a single messages in a conversation; Now using AI for search results and can no longer get exact seaeches. For example, a search for Tripadvisor gives me anything with the word review in it. WHY? If I wanted reviews, I would search for the word reviews. And now searches aren't even hitting partial words making the function pointless, so review, yes, reviewsite, no. No ability to permanently move items out of categories either. *3 because it's functional.

The latest update seems to have added a Gemini AI button; in the top right corner where the account icon used to be (it was moved to the left). This, not only is frustrating, but predatory. Users should get the choice use Gemini AI and not be forced to. Like all other features, it should be optional. If there is a way to disable it, they also do not make it clear and easy to access.

I would like to be able to add email events and dates to my calendar, not download yet another Google app for it to be added as a task. Simplify your stuff, not add more. Also, I would like to be able to prioritize being notified when I receive emails from specific senders, and not have to enable all notifications. Please add these updates and changes to the app. Edit: Those links are garbage and go nowhere. Attempting the suggestion was futile. Edited

Hi Eleesa. When notifications are set to "High priority only", Gmail will limit your notifications to emails automatically marked as important. This app is total garbage working with multiple email accounts from different providers and large numbers of emails. Trying to search emails only finds about 10% of total emails looking for. Also does not sync accounts very well. Needs to sync ALL accounts from the beginning, not just last few weeks. If deleting multiple emails they will sometimes reappear. Again not syncing with server very well. Used Samsung email app for years no issues. Now use Pixel phone and this app sucks.

The latest update introduced a terrible bug. I can no longer compose useful emails on my mobile device because I can no longer scroll what I am typing. So, after just a couple of sentences, the keyboard covers what I am trying to type. This is a horrible experience design and pretty much makes the email app useless to me. Edited
