One year ago, this game was completely free, but boy here it comes, I installed this game a second time but I had 60 mins left to play a full-of-ads but ad-free game so I could only be able to reach around 8-3-3 because of this subscription thingy. One thing about this being "CLASSIC" but man that was a lie to us. This is just a copy of new DTM without any ads. A classic version would be like having the old stuff in it. I don't see anything being "CLASSIC". (I hate when it has to be this way..)

This is a game I like a lot, a fusion of platforming and a beat-em-up--mostly a beat-em-up. It aint the best, but its certainly good enough to play through - which means its a huge shame that the main game is plagued with ads that make it nearly impossible to play, even with am adblocker. This version is the same game, with no ads. TLDR this is only an improvement. Easily back up to 4 stars. Edit: uh oops its a paid service now? Oh well still worth imo Edited

In the beginning, Dan the Man Classic was free and everything was great. For the second time in my life, I've leveled my way to the end of hard mode, this time learning I can no longer play for free! I understand times are hard and Halfbrick has to turn a profit, but since there are two versions of Dan the Man, why can't this one stay free?? I'm heartbroken.

I like this game a lot. It's not perfect and for the most part I enjoy playing it. Something I don't enjoy are the boss fights. They are not good. The hotboxes are wacky they take way to long and having them invincible is super lame and not fun. Specifically but not limited too, the Santa boss. I hate it, it's invincible for most of the time and then the rest it's dropping random bombs and then it just fly up again and it has way too much health. Would be way better if the bosses were way better Edited

This game is what those retro games should have been the first time around, decades ago. You can get 4 types of attacks and each one can be upgraded 2 or 3 times. Plus there's machine guns, rocket launchers, and shotguns. You can punch, flip, and flying kick enemies as Dan the Man or blast them as his shotgun toting sidekick. It's like the games from the arcade delivering instant action. The game supports my Power A MOGA XBOX controller. I bet it supports official PS4 & Xbox 1 controllers too.
