you can't rework your city without expansions, and you can't get those easily. when you do get them, you have to upgrade buildings which take up more space. you advance and in order to do that you have to put in other buildings that take even more space. there's plenty of other things that suck as well. too many things that are disappointing that make the game annoying. the bad is more than the good.

There is a genre of games that pose as city builders, but as soon as you hit level "x", surprise you are actually on a big PvP map. I've been looking for a game like that, but WITHOUT the PvP aspect. I think this game fits that description. I can't tell if this game is going to pull a bait and switch like that, because this game has the absolute slowest progression of any mobile game I've played. I find that aspect of the game super frustrating. -2 stars for that alone. Edited

Used to be fun. Used to be challenging but doable. Then the developers made the rewards less useful and harder to get, levels & AW's harder to achieve, made fighting more convoluted and complicated, made negotiating more costly... so many people have left the game you'd think the developers would quit screwing things up. Myself and others are constantly on the edge of leaving; where the game used to be fun & relaxing it's now just harder and much more stressful.

The game will cheat. Given enough time most quests can be completed. There are other times that they can't simply because there isn't the option to purchase diamonds. Example : All tasks completed prior to the end of an event however, player is downgraded within league standing because the only way to make it to the highest league is again purchasing diamonds. Latest issue, 100 scrolls with link in email brings to update game, however system can't update game as game was already updated . Edited

The gameplay is quickly monotonous, you need to make big in game purchases to move at anything more than a snail's pace. The opportunity to build community isn't as embedded in the game as it is in others ( i.e. few real time quests, most of the game play is asynchronous). The graphics are pretty good, the game is stable and the developers release frequent updates.
