While this isn't my most used app, it is very well done towards learning Japanese. There are structured lessons that not only teach language but also history and culture. It'll take a little time to get used to the UI, but once you play around with it, it becomes easy to navigate. What you study goes into an SRS, but via lessons and other areas, you can requiz often (and it's very customizable). There is also an app companion JA audiobook. Well worth the price for lifetime! Website integrated.

Wow, I wish I'd downloaded this first when I started learning Japanese! All the grammar and syntax and such are laid out where I can easily read them and take a quick quiz, instead of having to listen to someone explain things or watch a video. That really helps me to process at my own pace! Still a little fuzzy about what to do with "points," and a little overwhelmed by the sheer number of things to explore, but overall, I'm impressed!

I've been using this app for about 2 years as my primary means of learning Japanese, and it has been fantastic. I am able to read manga now, such as Super Mario kun, Dragonball, and Ushio to Tora, thanks to this app. The only thing I can think of that might make this app better would be a section on common abbreviations, contractions, and differences in dialects. I got the full product at a discounted price. I don't know if it's worth full price, but that's up to the individual. I can definitely say this app has everything that I could think of, and I believe that it's a good tool for anyone of any proficiency level. Whether it's needed for a full lesson, writing practice, or just a quick reference point to look something up, this app can help. Also, I believe that it has accurate translations. The app is great overall.

Incredibly useful and has nearly everything. Can't find much reason to use anything else (This is by far better, and cheaper, than Duolingo). A suggestion, or two, I have is adding a quiz function, similar to verbs, to adjectives. Although its not the biggest thing it does help cement adjectives/verbs into memory if you are repeatedly conjugating them in a quiz. 2nd is for vocab I am quizzing to display only the kanji I have learned thus far. Makes it easier to learn in parts. Edited
